ASASGThe 2nd International Sloth Meeting will take place in Paramaribo, Suriname, from April 13 to 14, 2013. 

This meeting is being organized by the Green Heritage Fund Suriname and the IUCN/SSC Xenarthra Specialist Group. It will be followed by a 2-DAY COURSE ON DIVERSITY, CONSERVATION AND RESEARCH OF   XENARTHRA, which will be held at the local university. The latter is targeted at university students, but will be open to anyone. Among others, we hope that this course will encourage researchers from the Guianas to intensify field research on xenarthrans in their area.

We have been able to secure financial support from the GEF Small Grants Programme and WWF Guianas, but unfortunately we will not be able to help fund any travel costs.
